Join Team Visma | Lease a Bike for the biggest bike race in the world. The 2026 Tour de France starts in Barcelona, and the route winds its way through the country over the course of 21 stages across three weeks. Enjoy a whole stage as a guest of one of the best pro cycling teams in the world, and witness the fight for Yellow from the best seat available!

Jonas Vingegaard will again be leading the team, as he looks to add a third Maillot Jaune to his collection. He will be supported by a strong line-up which is set to include Wout van Aert, Sepp Kuss, Matteo Jorgenson & Victor Campenaerts.

Team Visma | Lease a Bike ‘in the Heart of the Race’ VIP experiences

The day begins with our Team Visma | Lease a Bike host who will meet you to begin your race day experience. You host will be an ex-pro rider who will offer professional insights into the race. The first stop is a visit to the team hotel where one of the team directors will talk through the team’s race strategy for the day.

After visiting the team hotel, we set off for the start area where you will visit the Team Bus to see how a World Tour Cycling Team prepare for a race day. From there you visit the start village for the team presentations and rider sign on. Now it’s time for the race to get underway.

You will be in an official Team Visma | Lease a Bike vehicle with full race accreditation for access to the race course. The vehicle is equipped with race radio, a map of the official race route and live TV coverage. During the day you will stop at multiple points on the roadside, and you may even have the chance to watch your host hand out bottles or spare wheels. We will stop for lunch, with snacks and drinks available throughout the day.

We aim to arrive at the finish in time to see it live, depending on how the race plays out on the day. Once the race and podium ceremonies are over the full race day experience with Team Visma | Lease a Bike draws to a close. Your host will take you to the end point.

RIDE A TEAM CERVÉLO

The Cycling Experience is an early afternoon programme, usually starting around 15:00. It is a casual group ride, and the difficulty varies depending on the hotel location, but normally lasts around two hours. You will ride on a former Team Cervélo bike, guided by a former pro racer*.

Experience on a racing bike and cycling in hilly environments is necessary. Participants are requested to make a good assessment of their ability and to contact us if they have any questions.

Conditions of participation are outlined below. Our hosts reserve the right to exclude a rider from this activity if they are a potential danger to the safety and wellbeing of the group.

Participation is at your own risk
You must be in good health and physical condition to take part in the cycling experience
You must have experience riding a road bike, using SPD pedals or similar
Helmet is mandatory
You must provide your own cycling clothing, shoes, gloves and helmet
Bicycles are provided by Team Visma | Lease A Bike

If you do not wish to participate in the Cycling Experience, you have free time this afternoon to explore the local area or enjoy the hotel facilities.

*Subject to availability. Please note that the cycling experience is not available on Stage 15 (Champagnole to Plateau de Solaison)

DAY ONE – aRRIVAL dAY

Cycling Experience – approximately 15:00

The Cycling Experience your chance to ride a former team Cervélo bike in the company of a former team professional and your fellow guests. See above for details.

For those who do not wish to participate in the Cycling Experience, you have free time this afternoon to explore the local area or enjoy the hotel facilities.

We will enjoy an evening meal together at the hotel or a local restaurant. During the evening meal we will provide a briefing on your exciting experience ahead.

*Cycling Experience is subject to availability. Not included on Stage 15.

DAY TWO – Race Day

After breakfast at the hotel your race day experience starts. We start with a visit to either the team hotel or the team bus. Here one of the team directors will give you the inside track on the team’s race tactics for the day. You will also have chance to meet the riders as they prepare for the day ahead, as well as some of the support team, who will give you an insight into what goes on behind the scenes. We may also have time to visit the team bus paddock to see some of the competitors, before setting off for the day.

You will spend the day with us in an official black and yellow TVL minibus equipped with food, drinks and interior TV screens so we can watch the stage live during the day*. You will drive on the course of the stage on closed roads and be a proper part of the support team. You will experience the race from the roadside at various locations, and you may even be fortunate enough to watch your host handing out water bottles or spare wheels.

During the day we will also have lunch, either in the vehicle or while we watch from the roadside.

We will head to the finish area to catch the finale of the race**. Hopefully we can join in with the team celebrations. After the race comes to a close your hosts will take you back to our hotel. If you book the race experience only, your experience ends here and you are free to make your own onward travel arrangements.

After the race comes to a close we will head to our hotel and finish with an evening meal together.

*Please note that reception may be affected in certain regions which may affect transmission quality throughout the day.

**Please note that the race finish may not always be seen live due to how the race has developed and road closures.

DAY THREE – Departure DAY

Breakfast is provided at the hotel this morning before checking out of the hotel. Option transfers to a local Airport or Train Station are available on request at a supplement.

Enjoy the opening 3 stages of the Tour de France, as well as the Team Presentation in Barcelona. This tour combines optional rides & roadside spectating on Stages 1 & 2 with the full Team Visma | Lease A Bike experience on Stage 3.

The tour begins on Thursday 2 July and finishes on Tuesday 7 July, and is based in central Barcelona. Prices start at £3,399 per person based on 2 people sharing a room, or £3,918 for sole occupancy.
