Join Team | Visma Lease A Bike for a VIP experience at their home race! Come and watch the only World Tour race that takes place in the Netherlands. Our exclusive VIP Lounge is situated in a prime location at the foot of the Geulhemmerberg, where you can watch the riders pass by several times.
You will be in good company as we watch the race live on TV screens with commentary from a former pro rider. Delicious snacks and drinks will also be available all day.
In 2026, the team will have a strong Ardennes Classics squad, including Matteo Jorgenson, Ben Tulett, Axel Zingle & Filippo Fiorelli.
Team Visma | Lease a Bike ‘LOUNGE’ VIP experience
Our exclusive Amstel lounge experience opens at around 11:00 (exact time to be confirmed) to allow you to reach the location on the course before the race starts. You will be welcomed by a Team Visma | Lease A Bike host and given your souvenir gift. Before the race gets underway, a former professional racer will provide a preview of the race, giving their unique insight.
Once the race begins, there will be live coverage on TV screens throughout the venue. Drinks will be served throughout the day, and a lunchtime buffet will be served. Later in the afternoon, towards the end of the race, a traditional local dish of fries with sauerkraut will be served.
During the early stages of the race while the pelotons approach, there may be the chance to ride on the race route in a VIP Team Visma | Lease A Bike van, soaking up the atmosphere from the crowds lining the side of the road*.
The lounge is located at the foot of the Geulhemmerweg climb, near Valkenburg. You will see both the men’s and women’s race pass by the lounge on multiple occasions. As the climb is towards the end of the race, there’s a strong chance that you’ll see a decisive attack or split in the peloton.
There will be music and entertainment throughout the day, and we will hopefully be able to toast a victory at the end of the day!

Theo has been working for Team Visma | Lease A Bike as a host for 3 years. His professional career spanned 5 years and he rode for the following teams; Rabobank, Skill Shimano.
Maarten Tjallingii
Maarten’s professional career spanned 20 years covering both Road and MTB. He has ridden for the following teams; Vredestein Cannondale, Marco Polo, Skill Shimano, Silence-Lotto, Rabobank, Blanco, Belkin and Lotto Jumbo.
Eddy Bouwmans
Eddy has been working with Team Visma | Lease A Bike as a host since 2016. His professional career spanned 8 years from 1990 – 1997 riding for the following teams; Panasonic, Histor Novemail, Novell Software and Foreldorado-Golff.
