Enjoy the start village before the race, visit the team bus paddock, lunch and drinks en-route and the finish area post-race (the time spent here will depend on how the race develops).

Team Visma | Lease a Bike ‘in the Heart of the Race’ VIP experience
The day begins with our Team Visma | Lease a Bike host who will meet you to begin your race day experience. Your host will be an ex-pro rider who will offer professional insights into the race. The first stop is a visit to the team hotel near Compiegne where one of the team directors will share the team’s race strategy with you for the day.
After visiting the team hotel, we set off for the start area in Compiegne where you will visit the Team Bus to see how a World Tour Cycling Team prepare for a race day. From there you visit the start village for the team presentations and rider sign on. Now it’s time for the race to get underway.
You will be in an official Team Visma | Lease a Bike vehicle with full race accreditation for access to the race course. Drive on the cobbles through the crowds. The vehicle is equipped with a map of the official race route, race radio and live TV coverage. During the day you will stop at multiple points on the roadside and we will stop for lunch along with having snacks and drinks available throughout the day.
We aim to arrive at the finish in Roubaix in time to see it live but we can’t guarantee this as it depends on how the race plays out on the day. Once the race and podium ceremonies are over the full race day experience with Team Visma | Lease a Bike draws to a close. Your host will take you to the end point.

Itinerary
Saturday 11TH aPRIL – aRRIVAL dAY
- Travel to the hotel
Please make your own arrangements to arrive at the hotel Mercure Roubaix where we will stay for two nights with breakfasts and evening meals included.
- Airport transfer
If you plan to fly then we offer transfers from Lille train station, Brussels International Airport, Brussels South Charleroi Airport or another airport. Airport transfers are available at extra cost and are on request by contacting our team via hello@sportivebreaks.com
- This evening
Your Team Visma | Lease a Bike host will meet you at the hotel this evening. During the evening meal we will provide a briefing on the exciting experience ahead. Your host will run you through what to expect from the race day tomorrow.
Sunday 12th April – Race Day
We will have breakfast at the hotel, then your race day experience starts. You will spend the day as a guest of the team in an official TVL minibus.
On our way to the stage start we will visit the hotel where the team are staying. Here one of the team directors will give you the inside track on the team’s race tactics for the day. After this we make our way to the start location where we will visit the team bus and meet the riders as they prepare for the day ahead. There may be time to visit the team bus paddock to check out the competition, before setting off for the day.
You will spend the day with us in an official black and yellow TVL minibus equipped with food, drinks and interior TV screens so we can watch the stage live during the day*. You will drive on the course of the stage on closed roads and be a proper part of the support team. You will experience the race at various locations, and you may even be lucky enough to watch your host handing out bottles or spare wheels.
During the day we will also stop for a lunch break.
We will head to the finish area to catch the finale of the race**. Hopefully we can join in with the team celebrations. After the race comes to a close your hosts will take you the short distance to the hotel, and we will enjoy a meal together at a local restaurant.
*Please note that reception may be affected in certain regions which may affect transmission quality throughout the day.
**Please note that the race finish may not always be seen live due to how the race has developed and road closures.
Monday 13th April – Departure
This morning, breakfast is provided at the hotel, before you depart. We offer an optional airport transfer back to Brussels International Airport, Brussels South Charleroi Airport or Lille train station. This transfer is available at an additional cost and can be requested by contacting Sportive Breaks – hello@sportivebreaks.com

Age Limit: No children under 12 years old. For children between 12 and 16, please be aware that the experience is a long, all day experience with a lot of travelling. Please make sure they are aware of this before booking.
HOTEL
The 4* Mercure Lille Roubaix Grand Hotel welcomes you in beautiful historical Art Deco surroundings. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and a courtesy tray. A sauna and a fitness room are also available. The hotel is located in the heart of Roubaix, only a 10-minute drive from Lille with its Eurostar connection from the UK. The hotel is just 750 metres from Roubaix SNCF Train Station and less than 250 metres from Roubaix Grand Place Metro Station. Parking is payable locally.
Guest rooms at the Mercure Lille Roubaix Grand Hôtel are equipped with free Wi-Fi access and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The private bathrooms have either a bath or a rain shower. The Vieil Abreuvoir restaurant serves traditional brasserie-style cuisine, and guests can enjoy an evening drink in the hotel bar, by the fireplace.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday night, so we will arrange a meal at a local restaurant.
